Leave a tutor review after your lesson

August 27, 2026 · Editorial Team

If you’ve just finished a lesson and want to tell other learners how it went, you can now leave a rating and a written review on the tutor’s profile. If you change your mind later, you can update that review too.

That matters because tutoring choices usually come down to small differences that are hard to judge from a profile alone. A clear review can tell the next learner whether a tutor explained things in a way that made sense, kept the session focused, or helped with a specific subject. A rating gives a quick sense of that at a glance.

What you can do now

When you’re signed in and looking at a published tutor profile, you can submit one rating and one written review for that tutor. If you later have more to say, you can update the same review instead of writing a new one.

That keeps your feedback tied to your own experience. It also means the profile reflects the latest version of what you want to say, not an old draft you no longer agree with.

A simple example

Say you booked help for algebra and the tutor explained one topic clearly, but another part took more back-and-forth than you expected. After the lesson, you can go to that tutor’s profile, leave your rating, and write a few plain sentences about what helped you and what didn’t.

If you take another lesson later and your view changes, you can return to the same review and update it. You do not need to start over or leave a second review to correct yourself.

What it looks like when it’s working

After you save your review, refresh the tutor profile and you’ll see it there. The profile rating also updates from saved feedback, so the score reflects what learners have actually submitted.

That makes the profile more useful for the next person deciding whether to book. They can read the review, see the rating, and get a better sense of what to expect before they reach out.

What to watch for

This only works when you’re signed in. If you’re browsing without an account, you won’t be able to save a review.

It also applies to published tutor profiles. If a profile isn’t published, you won’t be leaving feedback there.

Keep your review about your own lesson. The most useful comments are specific: what subject you worked on, what the tutor did well, and what kind of help you got.

Where to start

Open a tutor profile after a lesson, sign in, and leave your rating and review while the session is still fresh in your mind. If you notice something later that changes how you feel, come back and update it.

That one review can help the next learner decide faster and with a little more confidence.
